At the end of this program, the participants will be able to:

• Successfully evaluate practice restructuring options.
• Incorporate recent national and international guidelines regarding thyroid nodules into an ENT Practice.
• Learn which thyroid nodule ultrasound findings should warrant suspicion and further investigation.
• Learn appropriate FNA classification of thyroid nodules.
• Explain the rationale and pathophysiology of stereotatic radiation.
• Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of stereotactic radiation vs. surgery in acoustic neuroma management.
• Identify otologic conditions amenable to treatment with stereotactic radiotherapy.
• Be familiar with the surgical decision-making with cartilage tympanoplasty and indications for the two different techniques.
• Learn both the palisade and cartilage island flap techniques with regard to graft harvest, preparation, and placement with and without ossiculoplasty.
• Understand anticipated outcome and complication management, such as post-operative tube placement.
